It's independent of the discussion at hand
I'm pro effort when it's leading to a deeper understanding of a cohesive picture that's simple to understand.
And what do you think that theology and scholastic is?
I have a *lot* of experience with writing extensively overcomplicated and technically correct things.
Tfw make a rational point and get ignored
I know how flawed it is.
I'm shitposting now
And what you call "rationalization", which doesn't try to infer what has been revealed to make it "rational", but to infer things from them

Nice
2 corinthians 5:21
**2 Corinthians 5:21 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust
<21> For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. ```
The reason I didn't respond is because I would need to draft an appropriate response to the notion that leaven is sin and that's why it's not in the eucharist
Except the eucharist is meant to bring spiritual perfection and thus must contain no sin symbolic or otherwise
I'm not sorry for what I've done
But fair
But that's not necessarily a problem because Christ was made to be sin, explicitly in 2 Corinthians. I need more time to properly write this out
Leavened bread is sinful because you can't imprint fancy patterns on it
Oof
now that's where you're wrong buddy
Show me
Ah, the schism has just been mended
I've never seen a Latin host with any design on it at all 🤔
Oh they go all out on designs
Novus Ordo host capitalist mass where they share business card eucharist
@Mozalbete ⳩ I would be willing to dump essays on you if you were willing to retract the statement that you would call me a hypocrite for doing so.
Also, (I don't know if it applies everywhere, but I know in some orthodox communities, it is the case, because I have observed it and had it explained to me by Orthodox Christians) that infants do not receive the bread, but only the wine, so I guess the Orthodox are just as guilty of separating the body and blood as they have accused Catholics of doing in this discussion
It's obvious that if you were to immediately disregard what I would say, I would have no motivation to even talk with you.
When you stop complaining about le ebil scholastic 😎
@aaron2509 That's a weak point to bring up, because orthodox at least give infants communion
That muddies the waters for that line of discussion
@Mozalbete ⳩ you could at least pretend to be interested in having a conversation with anyone other than yourself
it would make it easier for me to want to try to have one with you
