Mav88 kicks ass, almost bought one a few months ago https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/42628
I keep my AR-556 and a .45-70 Government No.1 under my bed at all times.
Mav 88 will get the job done. I have one. I like it.
The official shotgun of the alt right
Can put a top folding stock on it too for a e s t h e t i c
Sadly haven't gotten a chance to try my .45-70 yet; all the ranges nearby don't allow rounds over .308 and I live in the city.
Sad
Those look so tiny wtf
5.56 on the left
What's tiny?
they are tiny lol
.45-70?
Well no but it's also closer to the camera. I ment 5.56
oh yeah
well 5.56 is small
I've never shot .45-70
That looks painful
virgin intermediate vs chad elephant killer
For comparison .50AE is about 2000J
.45-70 will cause a nigger's head to explode like a melon
Pics or it didn't happen
I'm waiting on my moonman mask before I try that.
What's the max effective range on it, though?
<:moonman:390573776301195269>
@Jossur Surtrson 3,350 yards
It's for big game hunting
that's max range
not max practical range
500 grain bullet at around 700 m/s
What's the bullet type?
.45-70-500
I can split heads with a 556 at 500 yards no problem. Not sure of the trajectory angle on the 45-70 at that range
@Jossur Surtrson It's really not a practical cartridge for combat tbh
It's more for lul factor or for shooting big game
Is it pretty expensive to shoot?
I'm just interested in it. Not saying it's a bad round. Never heard of it before.
Definitely has punching power, that's for sure.
@Fevs I've never needed to buy more since none of my ranges will let me shoot it. It goes around 2-3 dollars per round for 500 grain, so yeah it's pricey
