No more gym for me

2019-06-26 18:12:44 UTC

Living the dream

2019-06-26 18:13:02 UTC

Bruh

2019-06-26 18:13:10 UTC

Are those like .25kg each?

2019-06-26 18:13:14 UTC

^

2019-06-26 18:13:20 UTC

It looks tiny

2019-06-26 18:13:50 UTC

You can see the bars on the ground

2019-06-26 18:13:54 UTC

Those bricks are huge

2019-06-26 18:15:37 UTC

The ones on the bottom for example are 5kg each

2019-06-26 18:16:27 UTC

On top right are 2.5kg and on the top are 1.25kg and 0.5kg

2019-06-26 18:18:04 UTC

So you like put 10 of them on to get any workout?

2019-06-26 18:18:12 UTC

So it's like 100kg all together

2019-06-26 18:18:27 UTC

Well I do 3x10 on most workouts

2019-06-26 18:18:40 UTC

And split squats for example

2019-06-26 18:19:10 UTC

Seems far more than enough for dumbbells to me

2019-06-26 18:20:17 UTC

And with dumbbells in general it's more difficult, e.g. the amount that you can bench is lower

2019-06-26 18:27:53 UTC

Yeah, I should get plenty swole enough from these. I do miss doing StrongLifts but I was having to wait 15 minutes in line at the squat rack every time in the gym. I'm not going back. I live in an apartment so a squat rack here is not possible, hence the dumbbells

2019-06-26 18:29:03 UTC

Plus when doing StrongLifts I felt that my cardiovascular condition was not great

2019-06-26 18:29:12 UTC

Do you think there may be problems related to droping the dumbbells on the ground after some reps?

2019-06-26 18:29:18 UTC

Stairs were difficult

2019-06-26 18:30:17 UTC

I lift on my balcony during the daytime. The most noise comes from changing plates

2019-06-26 18:30:37 UTC

Otherwise I have two layers of AstroTurf that seems to protect the floor well enough

2019-06-26 18:30:44 UTC

nice

2019-06-26 18:31:31 UTC

I guess rubber covered plates would be quieter, but they are also thicker, so you can't get as much weight on the bars then

2019-06-27 10:54:44 UTC

Right lads

2019-06-27 10:54:46 UTC

So

2019-06-27 10:55:07 UTC

When I'm not fasting, what do you recommend eating?

2019-06-27 10:56:22 UTC

Depends on whether or not you have some goal I guess. Losing some weight? Developing muscles?

2019-06-27 11:04:39 UTC

Mostly losing weight.

2019-06-27 11:10:32 UTC

I lost weight by eating almost no fries, and quite smaller amounts of food

2019-06-27 11:18:01 UTC

I never eat fries anyway. Ghastly stuff.

2019-06-27 11:21:41 UTC

Cutting carbs in general helps

2019-06-27 11:29:56 UTC

Yea. No carbs, no sugar

2019-06-27 11:30:13 UTC

Meat, vegetables mostly

2019-06-27 11:30:44 UTC

Dont eat anything after 6pm

2019-06-27 11:54:19 UTC

Welp, no Italian LARPing for me, then.

2019-06-27 11:54:34 UTC

Appreciate the help, chaps.

2019-06-27 14:58:55 UTC

@GodFearingEnglishman keto.

Cut carbs entirely and only eat protein and fat, like the Inuit. It gives you the flu for a little bit but then you'll be gucci. Because unfortunately, carbs have a withdrawal.

Drops weight fast as fuck though. Also just count your calories in general. And try eat in a small window of time. Nothing after 6pm as Daniil said. Also also, lots of water. Take a water bottle everywhere with you and just drink a lot, you'll piss like mad but you'll drop bloat weight, feel better and be less hungry.

If you're hardcore, you'll find yourself a non-plastic water bottle
