And the dlc is better than the actual mainnquest

2019-09-01 18:19:50 UTC

i consider the dlc as part of the game

2019-09-01 18:20:56 UTC

mechanically fallout new vegas is the better game. But i never paid much attention to the stories. Prefered to know more about thr lore but it aint as good as fallout 3 lore and side stories

2019-09-01 18:50:31 UTC

New Vegas is more classic

2019-09-01 19:01:19 UTC

As far as story goes

2019-09-01 19:01:59 UTC

Fallout 3's story is a lot more on rails than I like for a fallout game

2019-09-01 19:02:13 UTC

I agree

2019-09-01 19:02:32 UTC

There's good points in the story

2019-09-01 19:02:45 UTC

But for the most part I only remember certain parts

2019-09-01 19:02:51 UTC

And I think the DLC for New Vegas is some of the best worldbuilding in the series

2019-09-01 19:02:59 UTC

Agreed

2019-09-01 19:03:14 UTC

Fallout 3 DLC was a bit forgettable tbh

2019-09-01 19:03:24 UTC

See that's where I disagree

2019-09-01 19:03:28 UTC

I loved the dlc

2019-09-01 19:04:53 UTC

Mothership Zeta was fun, and I remember having fun with operation Anchorage, but for the big DLCs I barely remember anything about them tbh

2019-09-01 19:05:52 UTC

I remember one was literally just straight up fixing the plot hole of "why not just have Fawkes push the button?"

2019-09-01 19:06:11 UTC

And the other one had the mutants

2019-09-01 19:06:58 UTC

I guess the island one was pretty good but that one also didn't really stick with me

2019-09-01 19:07:37 UTC

I think as far as the off the wall goofy stories Old World Blues beats that ome 100%

2019-09-01 19:13:33 UTC

half the dlc was bad for fallout 3

2019-09-01 19:13:56 UTC

i aint gonna lie. mothership zeta nah

2019-09-01 19:14:20 UTC

the pitt was good. point look out

2019-09-01 19:15:07 UTC

Mothership Zeta was just on rails like Anchorage. No real replay value but they were fun linear experiences

2019-09-01 19:15:53 UTC

But New Vegas had strong DLC all around, Honest Hearts being probably the weakest and only for the lack of flavor quests to fill out that map

2019-09-01 19:16:21 UTC

Although I enjoyed the shit out of Dead Money

2019-09-02 18:16:53 UTC

Fallout 3 and 4 are dogshit

2019-09-02 18:20:47 UTC

fallout 3 was better mechanically

2019-09-02 18:21:10 UTC

nw is glitchy af and has aiming down sights which makes small arms a dump stat

2019-09-02 18:22:21 UTC

lore is better but its still vidja level writing

2019-09-02 18:23:11 UTC

legions the only choice which makes sense ingame because all the other factions are stupid
and legion is le ebil puppy kicker faction

2019-09-02 18:31:23 UTC

the 3d fallouts are best when youre exploring some abandondend ruin, or skulking the dc downtown
shotgun a buncha ghouls in the metro, then run away from the horde to the surface, only to be caught in a raider-bos-supmutant three way
sneak around sniping straglers, planting mines
and watch out for reinforcement s

2019-09-02 18:31:52 UTC

down a pharmacy's worth of drugs, get addicted to half of them and barely limp away with all your limbs broken

2019-09-02 18:32:02 UTC

does nv offer anything close

2019-09-02 18:52:17 UTC

I had more fun in new vegas than i did 3

2019-09-02 18:55:59 UTC

doing wat

2019-09-02 19:02:35 UTC

Idk just everything in general, combat, quests, ect.
I also liked the wild west environment/feeling of the game

2019-09-02 20:16:37 UTC

3 is very metropolitan I guess, if that's what you're into. I dug the cowboy vibe, struggling against the environment just as much as against other people in NV. It's more like a Rurex game than an Urbex game, and I've always found Rurex content more compelling even in real life.

2019-09-02 20:17:25 UTC

ok but whats the actual gameplay

2019-09-02 20:17:55 UTC

as far as survival goes its pretty lackluster

2019-09-02 20:21:00 UTC

It has more features than 3, and water doesn't instantly heal you every time you find a drinking fountain lmao. If you play hardcore you actually have to grapple with hunger, thirst, and sleep, and it makes the survival skill pretty handy with what you can create from scrap.

2019-09-02 20:21:23 UTC

i tried it
