But Novus Ordo is still big gay 99% of thr time
for sure
Last saturday in church the closing song was amazing grace
This is happening semi-frequently
The cathedral i attend did some things however to trad it up a little
Kneelers back into action
Because people started to go more to another chapel where this hermit recides and celebrates tridentine
*how to draw more ppl to trad masses*
Be thou my vision is the best contemporary him
Hymn
Also
>Be me
>Sit on upper floor of church where all the lazy bastards who come late sit
>No pew kneeling pads
>Nobody kneels
>Kneel on the ground to cuck these low-T non-pious laity
👌
Would be better if you said "Kneel on ground to show utmost devotion to Our Lord."
That goes without saying
Ah
Get in front of everyone and kneel just to flex on them
I do it when confessing or when we do the Lord's prayer/Nicene Creed if i feel like it
How to properly flex on these folks sticking their hands out as if they are catching rain during the our Father?
Not a lot you can do about that, unless you plan to explain to them on a case by case basis that they shouldn't be doing it.
Which is no mean feat. People seldom enjoy being told they're wrong.
Maybe i addres it if it came up during a conversation
Only way to really get it to stop is to get your mass ad orientum.
I find people are less inclined to do it of the priest isn't facing them.
even in new rite solemn mass, it seldom gets down even though, strictly speaking, it's an NO mass.
that makes sense
Oratorians really need to start picking a fecking side, tbqh.
I mean, at least they're not Jesuits.
But still.
How is an oratorian different
Most oratories I've seen so far like to play both sides. I don't know if Brompton is any different, however if the ones I've been to so far, there seems to be a genuine belief that both masses, extraordinary form and NO have the same substance, etc.
They seem to be very "don't rock the boat".
Who's moaning about the Oratorians?
Whats an oratorian
Als
Why do people cup their hands when reciting the nicene creed
The Oratory of St Philip Neri
Oratoriums are religious societies
Founded in the 1500's in Rome, each Oratory is entirely independent from each other. Whilst Oratorian priests belong to their Oratory for life, they are still considered secular priests who belong to the diocese, since they are without vows.
Or rather, orders
So what does that have to do with people holding their hands up during the Our Father
