The toppest of keks.

2019-02-24 06:37:28 UTC

I'm writing an article about regaining the lifestyle our ancestors had

2019-02-24 06:37:36 UTC

where they would live off the land

2019-02-24 06:37:48 UTC

Is there anything I should put in it?

2019-02-24 06:39:22 UTC

Perhaps a way to somehow adapt that to our modern conception, i see it hard and very unlikely we will go from a post industrial society to an agricultural one, people would simply not give it up as it would sound just against common sense no matter how good one can argue.

2019-02-24 06:39:32 UTC

It's an interesting position i grant it.

2019-02-24 06:39:47 UTC

But somehow i think it can be rejected just as anarco primitivism can.

2019-02-24 06:40:23 UTC

Our new conceptions of rationality and discoveries until now just make it common sense not to go fully back to something that implies to reject progress.

2019-02-24 06:40:43 UTC

So i'd say you would need to find a way to make your posture, compadible with progress.

2019-02-24 06:40:50 UTC

And somehow keep it trad.

2019-02-24 06:41:11 UTC

And by trad, i don't mean ideologically but rather, the idea that you are trying to convey.

2019-02-24 06:41:16 UTC

Maybe I could talk about how this modern society is corrupt and how we need to build a new one

2019-02-24 06:41:23 UTC

One more traditional

2019-02-24 06:41:31 UTC

You can stard by there yes.

2019-02-24 06:41:36 UTC

You can also attack excesive consumerism.

2019-02-24 06:41:55 UTC

Want me to send you what I've written?

2019-02-24 06:41:58 UTC

We need a new society that takes base on how our ancestors knew how to moderate themselves on what goods where produced and such.

2019-02-24 06:42:12 UTC

I certainly would friend.

2019-02-24 06:43:36 UTC

Thanks brother

2019-02-24 06:46:59 UTC

Btw sort of a theological doubt that has arisen as i read you.

2019-02-24 06:47:20 UTC

I do in my just anger repel the modern women and their habits that are certainly the way of the lost.

2019-02-24 06:47:55 UTC

But i think that as much as i can criticize people, it makes no good if i don't pray for them as well.

2019-02-24 06:48:27 UTC

I agree

2019-02-24 06:48:37 UTC

It is Christ only who knows one's ends

2019-02-24 06:48:57 UTC

One must not despair over anyone or anything

2019-02-24 06:51:51 UTC

So, for example during lent or during the sacerd days, in our fasts and in the midst of our prayers, can we ask for the intercesion of a particular saint, i.e. in this case, St Mary of Egypt for the souls and conversions of them? like, i know we orthodox do not share the idea of offering sufferings to atone for others, but we are asking God to lead them, so, considering those are sacred days, dedicating part of our prayers for this intention i feel it would be on spot, i believe lust is one of the most prominent passions and sins in our days, and we really need to work on that.

Would it be advisable if i arrange a set of prayers during the sacred days for this intention with the particular intercession of this saint?

2019-02-24 06:52:43 UTC

Yes

2019-02-24 06:54:10 UTC

I should maybe include that we have become sheep without a shepherd and have thus become swine

2019-02-24 06:55:38 UTC

We have intended to become shepherds ourselves i'd say but your is good too.

2019-02-24 06:55:41 UTC

Or maybe even both.

2019-02-24 06:55:48 UTC

So far i'm liking what i'm reading.

2019-02-24 06:55:55 UTC

Thank you

2019-02-24 06:59:35 UTC

Sure, i really encourage you to keep working on this, i can see that indeed these are words the world needs and not only more "traditional babbling" indeed, as an attack on excesive consimism for example, not only we desecrate the legacy of nature that God confided in us, but imagine the day where secularism as a dominance starts to turn our churches into more centers of production.

Surely, great work right there, don't feel afraid to share as you make progress.
