Thank you

Sure, i really encourage you to keep working on this, i can see that indeed these are words the world needs and not only more "traditional babbling" indeed, as an attack on excesive consimism for example, not only we desecrate the legacy of nature that God confided in us, but imagine the day where secularism as a dominance starts to turn our churches into more centers of production.

Surely, great work right there, don't feel afraid to share as you make progress.

Thanks

2019-02-24 07:03:31 UTC

Should I focus on problems with modernity or should focus on how to abandon the modern world and regain paradise?

2019-02-24 07:04:31 UTC

Both are key, again through consumerism and how modernity has been perverted with the desperate notion of progress, for the sake of progress and scientificism, we have corrupted the very same concept and made a lot of damage.

2019-02-24 07:04:42 UTC

Then you can lead it on why it's necesary to abandon it.

2019-02-24 07:04:51 UTC

To work on how would be a more extense work i'd say.

2019-02-24 07:05:06 UTC

These topics seem like a book deserving work if you ask me.

2019-02-24 07:05:22 UTC

But you can treat it as a blog too, in such case you can try to make a little resume.

2019-02-24 07:05:33 UTC

But still it's key you connect the dots.

2019-02-24 07:06:18 UTC

Or maybe i just feel like that because i'm a historian, and my mindset is kind of like that.

2019-02-24 07:06:34 UTC

Things that i like and are deep are something i plan to put in a book some day.

2019-02-24 07:06:44 UTC

Refutations on islam, apologetics to the church, etc.

2019-02-24 07:07:42 UTC

And social issues i'm treating them in the form of a novel, that has quite some strong stuff but it's intended to show the true perversion we have suffered and that we suffer because as you mention it very well, we are born slaves of this condition.

2019-02-24 07:08:22 UTC

yeah I'm worried that I'd be going into too dark/borderline edgelord territory

2019-02-24 07:08:26 UTC

but as it turns out we live in a society

2019-02-24 07:08:40 UTC

(regarding writing)

2019-02-24 07:09:20 UTC

Degeneracy has always existed but there was a time where most people upheld the idea of repulsing it.

Nowdays degeneracy is the rule and most people hold the idea of spreading it, and repulsing all that is good.

2019-02-24 07:09:28 UTC

Oh boi, Chuuni and Vera are the same person?

2019-02-24 07:10:17 UTC

Negative

2019-02-24 07:10:32 UTC

Oh, i thought so for a minute.

2019-02-24 07:11:09 UTC

well

2019-02-24 07:11:14 UTC

we're all in the same body

2019-02-24 07:11:23 UTC

So perhaps that's where the confusion came in

2019-02-24 07:12:03 UTC

Lmao.

2019-02-24 07:13:25 UTC

lol

2019-02-24 07:15:40 UTC

Btw how do i make it convincing that God may give a person a second chance to go back in time and change something in order to give a lesson.

2019-02-24 07:15:42 UTC

Like, in a novel.

2019-02-24 07:16:00 UTC

Hmm

2019-02-24 07:16:06 UTC

I know no one here is a novelist nor a theologian but i'd like some ideas as to not include a severe straight up heresy in my story.

2019-02-24 07:17:24 UTC

Make it clear that it's fantasy and not theology

2019-02-24 07:17:32 UTC

Like with Dante's Inferno

2019-02-24 07:18:27 UTC

Hmm, i could do that.

Make my character get in to a coma here and there. (?

2019-02-24 07:18:38 UTC

Maybe

2019-02-24 07:18:49 UTC

Look at Dante and Milton

2019-02-24 07:19:11 UTC

They created novels involving God without heresy

2019-02-24 07:20:13 UTC

Jesus is a chad. change my mind

2019-02-24 07:20:19 UTC

^

2019-02-24 07:20:31 UTC

I also intend to be very cautious as i was planning to make Christ appear (not necesarily phisically but by voice, through icons and such) but that's even harder as i also do not want to tergiverse our lord's attitude.
Even if i manage that, would it be disrespectful to make Christ a participant in this?

2019-02-24 07:20:37 UTC

Oh nice, i will look to those then.

2019-02-24 07:20:41 UTC

@arsenicMysticist I don't think you can write an orthodox book and it including backwards time travel
