Actually, it might be an idea to NOT link the forums in every other post, and rather have it in the group description, and refering people there instead. Facebook supresses any links that lead off the page

Whenever an admin posts, usually everyone in the group gets a notification. The exceptions are when I post a link or mention keywords such as "website" or "forum"

Essentially what you just said, except Facebook will pay for the ads instead of us.

We also can post pictures of the forums without mentioning the keywords and people will get the notifications.
