The Catholic forum thing went really well
Asked the seminarian if he thought traditionalism was coming back from his pov
He tried really hard to say yes without really saying yes
Because the pro Vatican II Canon then put me on the spot about why I thought traditionalism was coming back
Should've doubled down and said "Because the only ones who care about Vatican II are boomers and they'll all be dead soon".
Can understand the ducking and weaving by the seminarian though.
We will have to be careful of the conservatives who aren't quite trads though.
> "Because the only ones who care about Vatican II are boomers and they'll all be dead soon".
Few times have I seen so much truth condensed in so few words
It's a quite morbid sentiment.
But we are essentially awaiting our elders to become saints.
Yeah the boomer canon was wearing normal clothes too
What did you say?
I said "oh I've been reading about it online, I just wanted to hear it from a seminarian"
Lel i need to read it, i wanna buy a physical copy but not sure if my mom would aprove kek
I read in pdf, no idea where I could find a printed book
Found one on Amazon
Hey guys hows it going?
Pretty good
Nice, I'm going on a bit of a journey rn and it'd be helpful if you guys could help
My girlfriend came from an orthodox family and I'm Baptist and idk, her grandma said we couldn't get married
I was baptized when I was a kid and when I was growing up my local church and the people in it didn't seem so religious, it seemed they just went there for social stuff more than to actually preach and praise and I've been thinking about just converting to Orthodoxy
Is that legit?
@JoeyJoestar1337 damn she got a good grandma
convert, my man
Was definetly thinking about it I just didnt know how to go about it or if it was possible <:wojakbrainlet2:510859111009878037>
where you from?
Alabama in the US
Most orthodox people I know are from either Greece or russia
yeah, it's possible, there is even something called Orthodox Church of America
there are even church services in English
but don't know a lot, I am Orthodox from birth, born on Serbian soil
ask other converts
Righto thanks man
