What I found in christianity feels the most righteous to me
And I hope you may find the same thing
poop
now what
Can any of you guys help me with some sins I may have commited but forgotten. It has been literal years since my last confession so I ask for some understanding. What I have written for now is: lust, wroth, deceiving people, jealousy, envy, pride, not forgetting the wrongs others have done on me and drunkness
I am a sinful person but I want to renounce as many of these sins as I can
Ever disrespected your parents or authorities in any way?
yes I did
thanks for this
DO I SEE A FILTHY HEATHEN HERE?
imagine unironcally being a heathen
even Saint Mary of Egypt was a grave sinner
but God found in Its ways to forgive her
after she admitted her sins and renounced her life of sin
but first i need to be reminded of my sins
you are absolved of all forgotten sins during confessions, IIRC @Alex R.
also the little black or red prayerbook will have the 10 commandments of which to use for examination
Thanks a lot for this insight. I will look into it and see if I can find one in my language
Yeah, tbh I wouldn't be super scared of forgetting a sin and not being absolved
@Quarantine_Zone really? feels weird tbh like imagine going back in the next day?
nah nvm im dumb
ignore what i said
?
Confess all of the sins you know
But you need not worry about every single sin you've ever committed
You commit many everyday.
There is no way to remember all of them
well yeah but I feel that after living my life this bad I need to search my conscience a little harder to find them
this may be really dumb
If you feel burdened go ahead and confess more
I feel like I'm getting somewhere, or will be. For the first time ever, my obsessive consumption of medical and psychological literature is coming in handy.

I know a few people like Addie IRL, some for years. I've learned that a little civility, some philosophy, and a wide range of niche academic interests come in handy.
Definitely
The slow changes and approaches are usually the most effective and long lasting
@Caedes (crYpto.mdk) are you a go player?
This guy just followed me
Seems nice
