something about college ministries with healthy shepherds really brings out the best in catholicism
shouldn't compare yourself to others in the spiritual life, unless you're striving to be better
we have a great Catholic fraternity on campus as well
@Orrbit them being more pious than me is not a jest or jealously, merely an observation and an inspiration to a stronger spiritual life

Like do you go out and talk to random people? Advertise a shit ton? hold public events outside of mass and stuff?
My church has lots of social events to build a community
people go there to study and stuff
so when they're studying there they just go to the chapel for mass
it also helps that there's 40k people in my uni I suppose
I think the beauty of the church has something to do with it as well
well there's 20k at mine and the most who ever comes to mass is like 6 people

the Church is literally attached to one of the residential halls with several hundred students there and not a single one comes
we have a campus catholic student org and most events are done through there

I try to invite my friends to mass ( Novus Ordo but still better than nothing)
but it's mostly run by philipino NO types who don't even show up to any masses or events

Fr does a very trad NO (pretty much a low mass in vernacular) every day and OP mass on Fridays and Dominican feast days
that's my parish (mostly)
we have a 6pm mass with bass guitar which kinda sucks
he wants to start having bbqs etc after mass sometimes and doing more bible studies and stuff outside of just mass during the days so students can come
our 3 Frs, 2 are youngtrads and 1 is a 50 something year old, really nice guy

we have like 3 priests in the whole city who would say the latin mass, and one of them is FSSP
before he passed
