I potentially want one of a host over a chalice
If you want to advertise your low impulse control and lack of intellect to the world, then who are we to stop you
Now that I'm looking around here
If by lack of intellect and impulse control you mean an engineering student who's sat on this idea for three years, sure
Why is there a nsfw channel
🤔
<:degeneracy:509490337237172249>
So people dont spill their garbage into other channels
And dont kid yourself by saying that you'd never post something cringy or non-wholesome stuff on discord
Also its a containment zone for people that misbehave
So Christian #chernobyl then <:GWcorbinTopKek:384871333705678868>
Hmm
Ratherfully
I can see the use for that
Are any of the members here from the Balkans?
Uhhhh... A few, but I cant recall rn
Im Moscow Patriarchate myself
What do you guys think about the whole Ukraine situation
With the church I mean
God needs to retire bart
Tattoos aren't sinful.
Just don't be frivolous.
The absolute state of Catholics <:GWlulurdMmmYea:402868023393910794>
In and of themselves, no.
But the reasons people get them these days are asinine.
@The Captain, could you elaborate?
I'm Macedonian Orthodox myself, though I'm trying to find a Bulgarian Orthodox parish @Daniil
?
That's no easy task in Serbia
Having no idea how communion in orthodoxy works, I don't really follow the significance
We dont do sectarianism on this server @The Captain
Keep this in mind
@GodFearingEnglishman I just find it funny that a Catholic of all people would defend the plague that are tattoos
They are a plague
But one must be careful in saying why they are a plague
Saying "no, on the whole, this isn't sinful" is hardly a defence. Just stating facts.
Which is not because they are themselves a sin, but because they usually are a symptom of short-sightendness, degeneracy, wanting to be a special snowflake, etc
Saying 'just don't be frivolous' to someone who's planning to get tattoos to express their region of origin and to cover up their skin is no different than encouraging them to sin outright
Here is a common tattoo which pilgrims used to have after visiting the Holy Land, since 1300. Is this sinful? Is it a plague?

Would I be "encouraging someone to sin outright" if I told them that they could get it?
