Generally speaking, you own shares, depending on the company you might have a say, or maybe you don't.
If NAP can permit collective ownership within a company then why can't it permit collective ownership on societal scale?

When a company issues shares, you have to understand, the company in itself does not, only the owners
The company is no entity
You own pieces of paper which can be traded or entitle you to part of the profit.
It's up to the discretion of the owner and how he sees fit to contract with you, to either give you a say in the company's decisions.
