any horror game is going to have at least a couple stings unless they're purposefully against them, but it's not like shitty indie horror where the entire gimmick is "character grabs player and exceedingly loud noises play"

Yeah that didn't work out well for me since after that I was kind of a big pussy (while now am just pussy), to the point that in MGS1 I didn't get out of the docks because I was scared of guards, in HL1 Uplink(?) demo I didn't go to the elevator because headcrab zombies
