If you're worried about that then you don't go somewhere like Pattaya

you looking to just relax with friends and avoid that part of Thailand, you go to Chiang Mai, Hua Hin and/or Phuket

even if you were to go there you can still avoid that whole scene if you go to one of its nearby islands

if you plan going to japnippon just rermember that there is 24/7 cafes what have sofas for sleeping
