While there are so many excellent and creative hardtechno tracks out there, all the releases listed here perfectly show why so many people hate this kind of music so much.
Nothing more than a fast bassdrum, hi's & claps mangled trough some distortion filters, lot's of repetitive filter-effects and then some vocal/melody sample from a well known pop track... one title sounds like another, makes you think this stuff is produced with one basic set of instrument samples and only the vocal/melody sample changes.
wait, we had this some years ago when gabbber became popular all over the world, right? boring, retarded and repetitive music, where a track sounded more predictive than a washing machine in action....
....and still, people seem to love it. music for the mass market, the breakthrough for hardtechno into the commercial clubszene, the new "scooter" for schranz-kids, the techno-comeback of gabber?
not for me... *yawn*, next...
