Apparently SwiftKey has chink mandarin and cantonese input now
yes, but who the fuck uses swiftkey?
<:wholesomethonk:373550351082848267>
haven't used it in ages but it's there now
I just wanted to try alternatives to botnet keeb
granted, this is another botnet keeb
but whatever
@transience it already had since a while, both pinyin and bopomofo
didn't know it had canton jyutping though
gboard only just got that a few months ago
Gkeyboard a piece of shit
because they put the microphone right next to suggested words
Swiftkey looks like shit
SwiftKey lags a little but if you use a lot of different languages you basically have no other choice
Why!
I've got 5 on Gboard no problem
swiftkey. this guy live in 1998
SwiftKey is the only keyboard that makes you mix English and Chinese in a sentence with proper predictions
I don't really mix languages though
my setup
@Millwood y ruskie
Y not
TBH I needed it for something a few times but didn't bother uninstalling the keyboard since then
gboard feels nicer than swiftkey but the predictions are completely fucked, as if it learnt nothing from a whole month of use
google keyboard, before it became gboard, worked perfectly
is it just mine thats broke
no I've noticed that the correction seems off too, but suggestions on any other keyboards I've tried are absolutely balls in comparison
Glide typing seems to work better too
By prediction do you guys mean that you use the suggested words?
Yes, SwiftKey actually continues the sentence for you
Like, I type something and it suggests the next word based on my bag of words analysis
It's pretty neat but that's also why people call it a botnet. probably more suited in <#527849695020580866>
Gboard has that too but I didn't think anyone actually used it
I just swipe everything
Standard sentences like "Are you going to be on time?" etc are nice to just tap through the selection
