well, the volume is fine and a lot of people get by okay powering the thing just through a cheap interface like this. the problem is it sounds tinny as fuck
i dont know if the quality of the sound rather than the volume is something that can be affected by phantom power?
my experience is limited.
thx for the link
actually
@Deleted User is our bmeme specialist i think
hello
there's some hiss involved with the bmeme and you can solve that by modding it
but mine is stable enough
my experience was that with cheaper usb interfaces I'd have to turn up the gain more to compensate
and that naturally introduces hiss
my old interface was 16v
it's one of the drawbacks of the Bmeme though, there's definitely a noise at times
post-processing helps, I run a lot on my later videos
yeah the noise i'm getting is totally manageable
it just seems to be missing a lot of bass frequencies
even with a lot of eq
it's like there's nothing there to boost
my voice is bassed out to hell in my videos, hold on I'll show you the guide I followed
I follow this exact stack, it's named "usual pish" on my adobe audition
works well for me
haha, i have something very similar
this does work pretty work
ah hell i think i'll just get a proper interface to start with
I've moved off the bmeme now
and apparently people can tell the difference
I can't
I use this superlux mic gearbest sent me
eventually I'll get an audio technica meme
why the microphone autism?
your videos sounded good enough to me
I just do a lot of work in post to make it sound better
on its own raw Bmeme isn't the best
better than most gaymur mics but some hissing
im using vst host + some plugins and there is no hissing
NS1 noise cancelling plugin doing great job
talking about raw Bmeme, not plugins and post-processing
I use shit to clean it up too
obviously all mics benefit from post processing tho
