i was quite looking forward to a change in UI when i first got my rn4

and the ui is all right yeah

but it absolutely f u c k e r s notifications and background sync stuff

and you can take steps to fix it but it's still flakey as fuck and you have to do manual work to make sure push notifications will work properly for any new app you install and it's just fucked
