Most people on reddit seem to think the 6,000,000 who died in the holocaust is an exaggeration, and bring up things like
Wooden doors can't trap gas
There's no way they could have fit so many people into those gas chambers
There weren't enough ovens
bodies take a long time to burn
The red cross statistics are in the hundred-thousands
The memorials have inconsistent death numbers ranging from 500,000 to 4,000,000
Birth rates were high in the camps
And a bunch of other nonsense
I don't know why so many of you people hold these views, but frankly I don't think they make any sense. It literally says 17 million in the wikipedia article if you google in it. But everywhaere I go on reddit. Everybody is like "Red cross this", and "Wooden doors that". Frankly I just wish we could have normal discussions on reddit without this conspiracy bullcrap.
Am I the only one who thinks this around here?
