I have Z68-V Pro and i7 3770k
Itching to buy something new
But expensive since I want 32 GB RAM etc:p
My setup works fine, even run some VM's to learn stuff
Maybe I'll get something new once Intel come with some CPU's where Meltdown is fixed
ive got a ryzen 1600
i might upgrade to a 8700k at end of year
if funds permit
or just get a gaming laptop
settle down boys we aint #pc-fi
i hope my earbuds come soon
KZ ATE mmcx is a no go
its ever so slightly too big
fixed connectors > deatchable
thats why i only buy computers with potted components
apple ftw xD
@bentech how much are you going to sell your ryzen cpu+mobo for fam <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

very cute little pcb
big chip is conexant cx20873 dolby turnkey IC
small chip on top side is conexant cx20745 i2s codec
reeee
Mmm lines
What exactly am I looking at here
a frequency response graph
So if I want something good the line is supposed to be as straight as possible?
not quite
that's just frequency response alone
and my rig is a flatplate so it doesnt account for any outer ear interactions, which means the upper midrange and treble will never be properly accurate
but flatter = better in a general trend
oh alright
thanks
freq response isn't as important as distortion
flatter response tends to come hand in hand with low distortion because flat responses target people who care about quality, but I'd look at distortion first then see if the FR works for you
i cant do proper distortion plots atm because my room noise is too high :(
well
tried to take apart my broken zircons
