and my rig is a flatplate so it doesnt account for any outer ear interactions, which means the upper midrange and treble will never be properly accurate
but flatter = better in a general trend
oh alright
thanks
freq response isn't as important as distortion
flatter response tends to come hand in hand with low distortion because flat responses target people who care about quality, but I'd look at distortion first then see if the FR works for you
i cant do proper distortion plots atm because my room noise is too high :(
well
tried to take apart my broken zircons
don't do it
lol
heat works but it might as well be welded together
i want my dumb cheap iems to come
right one is the one i ended up melting, left one still has driver inside
i thought it was just pressfit with some glue
NOPE
its okay i have extra blutack laying around
diy earphones
I would delete that before a mod sees it ilves
i mean it technically fits the topic if you consider music "audio autistic"
tho id rather we didnt have shitposting in here
Makes sense since the Beatles is the audiofool band
Yep I would too
Serious question now
How bad are the apple airpod clones and knockoffs?
Has anyone ever experienced one?
bad
the original airpods are pretty bad, and the knockoffs are even worse
That would explain a lot
if you care in any way about sound quality avoid fully wireless with a 10km pole
Just looking for some convenient options to see if one offers acceptable quality
Maybe the Bose SoundSport Free?
I tried the bose listening tests
The car audio is great but the headphones are all mid focused
I don't like that sound signature
ye the bose anc headphones are nice
imo, at least
I am a filthy bass junkie like Julian <:benis:239668961011040257>
qc35 and wh1000x are both really nice normiephones
I've seen some dude on my bus with some QCY wireless shitboxes I'm fairly sure are like $20 but I haven't bothered to check
Not enough bass for me on both of them when I tried one
Just EQ it in smh
