Okamura's palace ruined the game too
But it got good once you beat Sae
I actually liked that dungeon for the music and aesthetic
My controversial take
Futaba had the best palace in the entire game.
Great music and story
My personal favorite is still Mementos Depths because of the mellow track and the haunting feel
It also had a classic MegaTen vibe with the muted colors and blocky surfaces
Horologium from Strange Journey comes to mind
Memontos Depths had you leveling up like crazy
I will buy it used. I kind of feel ripped cause all the time and effort I put into regular P5 is wasted
It was definitely worth the 60 dollar imo, but the experience comes in waves
Yeah no save transfer WTF
There are parts that are good and there are parts that aren't
P3FES had that
you could save transfer regular P3 to FES
P4 was also like that with its pacing
But P4 was a 70 hour game
You had some very good parts and plain ugh parts
P5 has a messy aethetic too. It's distinct but messy.
Yeah P4 is consistent even if the slogs are very sloggy
the vita port was really good
Yes it was
it added more stuff to do
I hope the confidant cut off date in P5R is pushed back to February
they'll probably do that
in P4G they made Naoto's window to max more slackened too cause in PS2 version it was really inconvenient
I got all the confidants maxed on my first run but it was tight
Main thing Royal needs to do is make Haru feel less like the Naoto of P5
That is, the character brought in too late to develop as thoroughly as the rest of the cast
Okumura should be given some larger role prior to that palace
So the intro feels more natural
What benefits does maxing Futaba do
Maxed out Rise was barely useful
Maybe let you actually play as Haru with Morgana in that part so you actually get an understanding of her early on
In P4G maxed out Rise was fucking broken
Free buffs and heals up the wazoo
The difficulty dies with her
She barely gave me any buffs and heals during the Izanami fight
I had to get Debilitate just to stand a chance
