I have been in charge of a lot of internet communities for a lot period of time and this is one of the common pitfalls of people that try to use discord platform

for example one community i am heavily involved with is a video game community.. we have a #catchall channel that everyone talks about everything in, and everyone kinda gets to know each other and checks the scrollback for what they missed

when some new admins split up the discord into a buncha channels, it just seemed like a graveyard 24/7

too much work to check esp when ppl are already in a zillion discords and IRCs

if we had a super dope ML Christianson call in server with like... the call in stuff (live room, role call) and the a community and nothing else, I bet people would log in and chat with other regulars

I listen to every show and I know im not the only one. I would love to chat/gab with other show watchers. I know there are larger communities available but idk could be cool. Just an idea tho! Just throwing it out there
