It's utterly hilarious that people don't realize how vindictive people get in video games. Hop on a CS:GO server when someone starts hacking and griefing, and listen to the things players say. You would swear it was like 1947 all over again.
We say nigger, we say faggot, we say cunt, and a myriad of other words to express our frustration and our displeasure with something or someone. It's not new, and it has been the way of the internet for a long time. This isn't cable tv and it never will be.
People say foul things behind closed doors all the fucking time, including the so-called principled journalists. These moralist busybodies just need to get the fuck over it. The world is not a nice, polite, well-mannered place. It's filled with people who disagree, dislike each other, and occasionally get violent. The sooner we accept that, the sooner this stupid moral panic will end.
