*"We need to stick together both the left and the right to fight this scourge"*
First, don't lecture me about free speech. I'm not the one defending censorship. (Seriously, unless somebody dies as a result, I'm not too big on dirty looks for "bad" speech, either. Mark's an ass but he didn't break a real law.)
Second, I seriously don't foresee the left defending any speech *other than thier own,* no matter how tepid or extreme it may be.
***EVER.***
I'm litterally in fascistbook prison again for saying *"Stupid white people."* My *history* as a *white supremacist* is why they didn't even review it, just clicked the *"approve"* button.
@Deleted User
*"what is the argument against universal background checks?"*
¿You mean *other than* the part about it already *being* law?
*"the NRA actively blocks any gun research no?"*
No. They've fought to block using the research for partisan purposes.
**IN FACT,** the CDC did a study during the Barack regime. The results were *"startling,"* so Barack ordered the study burried under legalese.
Ehem, as for *private sale,* the moment that gun turns up at a crime scene, the ATF will charge you with a straw purchase, and wail and knash all you like but straw purchases are illegal.
who is defending censorship?

I hadn't really followed the Amazon fires story but burning farm land sounds about right, I grew up on a farm and we did that too not every year but every so often you'd burn the field with harrows
https://iowaagliteracy.wordpress.com/2015/04/30/why-do-they-do-that-burning-fields-and-ditches/
"Each spring farmers and other land managers use controlled burns (also called prescribed burns) to put nutrients back into the soil and revitalize the land. These intentionally set fires serve a valuable purpose. At the end of the growing season plants will leave a lot of dead matter above the ground where it does not easily decompose. Fire breaks down that plant matter and releases the nutrients so they are available to the soil and can help promote future plant growth. These prescribed burns are often applied to road side ditches where dead plant matter can build up quickly."
Please slow me a moment to say...
