It is good to see Senua be financially feasible since they did it with a more moderate budget. Didn’t go the bloated AAA route.

Oh, fair enough. That said, depending on how the game ended, there's no inherent reason to believe that a follow up will damage the quality of the product.

If the game ends in a way that would make a sequel improbable or worse, then that could certainly make a sequel poisonous to the brand, but I don't know how it ended.
