the whole red wave thing bothered the hell out of me. It was one of the reasons that Hillary lost...no one had any skin in the game by the polls, so a bunch of the dems didn't bother showing up

So many millennial stayed home on election night in 2016 because the media kept reporting a "96.1% chance of Hillary winning." The media has been touting the blue wave narrative so I honestly think, just like with Trump, right wingers will swarm the polls
