Do you think they see guns themselves as implements of malice? It's the only thing I can think of that logically fits most gun control narratives.
A less superstitious idea would be that an unarmed populace would simply be unable to cause harm, but I've yet to see any evidence of that.
more harm would arise when you unarm the populace...and it would be harm aimed AT the populace

I legitimately wonder why gun grabbers think seem to believe that firearms are uniquely malicious. Aside from Britain, I mean, where they are ascribing the same kind of villainy to things like screwdrivers and nail files because murders didn't go down.
