There's a lot of filler on both Load and Reload. They could have combined the good tracks into one album and it would be really good.
But, in my opinion, Metallica reached their peak with Ride the Lightning
Maybe, but I liked the slow pace of Load and think mashing both albums together would make them less cohesive!
They could have released a double album.
It definitely has more groovy songs
King Nothing
2x4
Hero of the Day
I find Reload better
Looking at my playlists, I kept 6 songs from Reload and 3 from Load
Combing those two would make a very good album, imo
@Dan V that's fair.
Also, a hot take that no one wants to admit, *...And Justice for All* kind of sucks
Now we are speaking the same language! Never got the vibe of that album!
I like *One* and *To Live is to Die* but every other song sounds exactly the same
@Dan V
*"Combing those two would make a very good album, imo"*
That's what critics were saying at the time; *'The last gasp of a dying band.'*
They kind of had a resurgence with Death Magnetic, from what I understand
I don't know, I haven't listened to anything since *Garage Inc.*
I find double albums, in general, to be a bad idea. Too much fluff
*Use Your Illusion*, *Stadium Arcadium*, etc
And critics agree with you... IIRC, sales records also agreed with you. (I didn't get either...)
reminds me of this classic

also, we've already established that white people are the most diverse people since white light reflects all the different colours of light in the visible spectrum
we also change color the most
im white, pink, red, blue, green
sometimes blue
lol
brings me back to the days of arguing with my friends whether it was Da Ba Dee Da Ba Die or something something If I were Green I Would Die
ah dude they did a vice documentary about them, and totally covered that
it was actually good
Yeah I knew one or two people who thought it was that
I never understood those people
I guess there’s something for everything
