Or maybe the fact that Game of Thrones is almost over, or maybe the fact that Daenerys has just switched from 'YAAAS KWEEN' to villain.
Yeah, Khaleesi is the title for the wife of the chieftain of the Mongol Horde on the show.
Which is where one of the major characters storylines started.
it's the new naming your kid Dovakhiin
Oh my god.
I want to disbelieve that people did that, but my faith in humanity isn't high enough to deny it.
I knew a guy that named his kid Neo. I bet you can guess around when that happened.
oh it totally happened
one couple did it and bethesda rewarded them with games
That is so sad
At least that guy that sent Bethesda a bunch of bottle caps for Fallout 4 offered something tangible in trade. Those people traded their kid's dignity for a free game.
how it would have ended if the characters were smart
ha
Was Cardi B like, cancelled, or something?
I barely know who that is
What do you mean Rec?
Iโm wondering why wendyโs is offering Cardi a job
Did she do something stupid in the past few days?
I don't know. Kinda seems like maybe there was something other than her last public meltdown, because if they were talking about her public admission of theft the obvious joke would be that she can't work the registers.
Oh
She spiked the drinks to make them go to sleep, then she robbed them.
I guess it is about the admission of theft then.
@Ragglefraggle07 I think one of the plot devices they left out of the show is going to catalyze the Great War in the novels. The undead dragon took down the wall in the show, but that plot device might do it in the books.
That wall is coming down first either way, from how I see things, not to defend D&D's crappy decisionmaking. Though if GRRM were smart he'd have the Wight war and Cersei drama going on at the same time to make things really crazy
Who knows, maybe Cersei will have a host sent down to attack Winterfell while they're fighting the wights lmao she is more crazy in the books than the show
It really bothers me to see people talking as if the physical barrier of the wall itself was keeping the White Walkers North of the Wall, and that getting a dragon is how they were able to cross.
I actually hated how the dragon was the plot device in the show
Gabumon digivolve to ... ! ๐
It seems pretty blatant to me that it was Bran crossing the wall with the NK's mark on him that allowed them to cross, and without a dragon, they would have just poured through at Castle Black, Eastwatch, and anywhere else that had intact tunnels.
I'm pretty sure they made up a bunch of stuff about the Night King. I'm not sure GRRM spilled too much about the wights to D&D, but time will tell. I don't even know if the Craster boy infants conversion is even a thing in the books. As of the latest book nothing like that has been revealed
I was under the impression that had already been basically confirmed
Ah, it seems it is heavily alluded to according to the wiki for the series
yup. I dont mind that though
there's a lot of stuff that happens in the show that might happen in the books - Daenerys being fucking murderous being the most obvious one
but I trust GRRM to have tact. He at least has a proven record of it
I was hoping for that all along
Now if only there was any reason to actually believe the last two books will be finished and released. . .
