Good gosh. They are right. Repeal the 13th. And the 12th for good measure.
just stick to astrophysics it is way simpler then politics
can't forget the 19th
I can't think of another amendment that has done more damage than the 19th
I would like nothing more than someone to debate a Democrat representive about the 19th amendment.
Hey, I'm no fan of the 8th, we should repeal that, too.
the dem (hell, even a republican) would just be too ideologically possessed to argue in good faith. it would be like watching an exorcism
While we're at it... ¿What purpose DOES the 5th Amendment serve? We absolutely should be using torture to force confessions out of people.
youre no fan of the 8th amendment?
the fuck is wrong with you?
the 8th amendment prevents gov from imposing cruel and unusual punishments
I don't know I think we should repeal the 3rd
lemme guess @Mandatory Carry you want some weird ass eye for an eye type of punishments to be carried out
Eh... Maybe... ¿How about "Get out" as the enabling act?
the 5th has nothing to do with torture
that would be the 8th that covers torture
"Right against srlf-incrimination."
self incrimination is not torture...
the 5th means you don't have to admit to a different crime to give yourself an alibi, for eg.
@Agent Smith
*"the 5th has nothing to do with torture"*
**"We absolutely should be using torture *to force confessions* out of people."**
doesn't the 5th also cover grand jury
yeah
"The Amendment requires that felonies be tried only upon indictment by a grand jury."
I guess an argument can hold that torture can bypass grand jury
clearly mandatory carry has some dark fantasies
*"(N)or shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself..."*
being compelled to testify is not torture
but you would have to grant the premise that torture is not a form of punishment
in order for it to bypass the 8th
but most can agree
i do not grant that premise
torture is a form of punishment
right
I already said repeal the 8th... Because Neil deGRASSR TYSON said,
*"Odd how many Americans invoke the 2nd Amendment to justify gun ownership, rather than explore whether or not it's a good idea."*
BRB, bills to pay...
soooo how about no?
