all the liberals in that thread
I've yet to see a single one agree with them and no right wingers as far as I can tell
at least no overt
thats a good sign
found a supporter in response to another person
"They wouldn't be a man competing in a women's sport. Stop being so transphobic"
"I'm living in reality. You don't seem to be though"
I know this is a lazy comment but..
(((ACLU)))
or do we.....
hmm so the "debunkings" are more strategic than stupid
wow that's high, who knew people still watched golf?
Fortnite is trying to establish itself in the esports arena. You have to pay very high prize money if you want to attract companies to build up infrastructure in a field that could be gone in a year.
I very much doubt the championship actually brought in that kind of money
the game seems to be doing very well which I'm happy for they invest some of that money back into Unreal engine which I use
Im not so sure. There doesnt seem to be as much enthusiasm for Battle Royal Games anymore. I think we will see a new game in the next 1 or 1.5 years and a lot of people will leave Fortnite.
i'd bet the same
kids play fortnite because their peers do in class
the second the peers shift to something else, it all comes toppling down
Thats why they are trying to build up the e sports infrastructure now that investors still allow them to throw money around
its why Epic are investing so much they want to hold the attention for as long as possible before the next fad hits
but for now they're absolutely rolling in it
i bet theyre banking on the epic store to carry them after fortnite fades
like how valve did
and making money on the side from a whole lot of other games with the engine
pretty much
that too
dont think it will Travis
no?
the store
it'll take time
Steam wasn't built in a day
oh, you dont think it will succeed
they have been to aggressive and a lot of gamers hate them for that
idk either, but im guessing thats their game plan
i remember when steam first came out, a lot of gamers hated it too
steam version of games were shunned
ive been on steam since hl2 came out
steam isn't particularly relevent these days, it's just that thing everyone has
or maybe it's just me I rarely open it anymore
its relevant, just not to you lol
