First off, sure, you could make an argument that appealing to the minority does in fact piss of the majority. However, there has to be some form of checks and balances. I’m a firm proponent for not catering to the “lowest common denominator.” The reason being is that this tends to adversely affect those around you, and in the case of present day we “tolerate” drug addicts, homelessness, encampments, and a very apathetic or I don’t give a fuck attitude. I speak as someone who used to externally show and say I don’t care to a large majority of issues and that got me in a lot of trouble. It was also a very poor mindset to have, and I wouldn’t be as successful as I am today if I still held that true.
Ravenclaw can go fuck their self. The essence of inequality is a foundation facet imbedded in nature. It’s part of everything and everyone, and you can not rid it. Likewise, chaos is a natural state of the universe, and so is the cold. Humans created jackets to combat the cold, just as we have created tools of power to combat our enemies whether human, technological, or animal. With that said, “your white privilege is showing.” Get the fuck outta here with that tripe shit. I’m brown, and I’ve been called numerous slurs or tropes thrown by the left. I know I’ve won the battle but they largely argue based off of emotional ineptitude.
