i'd argue to keep the age of majority seperate from the age of consent. simply because teens are gonna fuck.

@Spanners I think that generally the voting age should be younger. It wouldn't be good for our society right now, but I think generally speaking giving teenagers more responsibility would do a lot to help them grow into real adults.

Simple make sex outside of marriage illegal

In Germany the age of consent is 14 and society functions fine. Because everyone who isnt degenerate would beat the living shit out of a 30 year old touching their 14 yo daughter. Laws should not be written like "if it doesnt totally ruin society its fine".

some states actually dont have that clause and technically if two teens under the age of consent had sex, then they both would have commited statutory rape.

Lowering voting age seems more dangerous than not. Maybe trial it in a couple of states. Overall, kids are fucking stupid.
