Any of you audiophiles got a good guide to soundproofing a room? Moving to a new house and would rather my neighbors didn't have to endure my awful music
Depends on budget
reinforce walls with lead
I don't mind, lead is a bit excessive though
cover walls in egg cartons
Glass/stone wool + foam/cartons in your favorite form pattern
Suppose
Wool or whatever foam you want, hide it inside some canvas painting or something
Canvas makes a passable audio baffle in a pinch but you may as well stick some foam behind it
Get rockwool and isolate it at the same time
Yeah the best case scenario is being allowed to stuff your walls full of insulation
@danashcroft line your walls with lead or concrete or any other dense material, and seal the room up
keep in mind soundproofing =/= soundtreating
my t2 arrived
very pleasant sounding

same
but is it happiness +1?
Idiots
As HEKtik said, line your wall with a layer of lead and concrete
Take a nap for a few hours and that room will be very sound proof
@crackedpepper @HEKTIK also be dead after that nap and I'm not talking tired
is that a threat π€

stop buying lofi
Buy some hifi
Buy some chifi <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
hifi is just lofi with a three digit price tag
<:googlethink1:328536264292827139>
sometimes four digit
and sometimes five
and six
and seven
