Every packet of data .. text / voip .. sent over a cell network they have your phone type, your location, your sim with access to your name, your number and your identification.
I think you have to use firefox for that. I was testing a website I was building and I dont believe Safari or Chrome had that option. May be on other mobile browsers now as well, was some time ago.
The Alex Jones thing is what made me come to that conclusion too. I really wish Jones had managed to identify that he was the one to do it and beat the shit out of him.
