They reinterpreted the Constitution. Hell, New Hampshire had an official state religion until the 1870s. You start to notice the change when a certain group of "german-americans" show up

What I don't understand is why the judge didn't vacate the jury's acquittal and declare his own verdict.
He's well within his rights to do that if the jury tries to pull crap like that that violates legal precedent.
