They should be happy that gas prices have gone up because that incentivizes less gas consumption.

they cherry picked one week during 2011 when our two main (middle eastern) oil suppliers ran a surplus for Obama, and made sure to use a state like wyoming with a low fuel tax. Then picked an August high in California for Trump

My point is that they believe that we should be reducing gas use. Higher prices incentivizes lower demand. Therefore, they should not have a problem with higher gas prices.

Last summer (under trump) there was at least one gas station in every state that had fuel under $2. I saw the one in Wisconsin with my own eyes
