If her deal goes through is Britain even really a country? Don't they essentially become a province of the EU?

2018-12-12 16:59:21 UTC

It seems that way.

2018-12-12 16:59:50 UTC

I haven't really read what her deal is about. I am just sick after 2 years of pretend negotiations to still have no result.

2018-12-12 17:00:48 UTC

What does she care she gets paid off by the corporate interests and she has no children so she doesn't have to worry about the future that far out.

2018-12-12 17:01:28 UTC

That is the cynical (and largely realistic) point of view.

2018-12-12 17:02:50 UTC

Well looking forward to the vote to see how much back bone the uk still has.

2018-12-12 17:03:01 UTC

or doesn't have

2018-12-12 17:04:38 UTC

Aside from the crumbling Brexit deal this adds the ever looming danger of having Jeremy Corbin to be the PM of the UK.

2018-12-12 17:04:52 UTC

Even writing that makes me feel like I need to clean my keyboard!

2018-12-12 17:05:09 UTC

@grant shocking

2018-12-12 17:05:57 UTC

Guess that's what you get when your president shames the entire police core for 8 years

2018-12-12 17:07:17 UTC

@Euro looking for a green card the idea of Corbin being your PM is scary. Despite all the people I used to follow from the UK on Twitter who told me he is a god

2018-12-12 17:08:21 UTC

They can call him a god, but he ain't a god that you wan't to live under!

2018-12-12 17:08:50 UTC

Tell that to them

2018-12-12 17:09:09 UTC

What kind of check and balances do you have in UK that could limit Corbin?

2018-12-12 17:09:15 UTC

I am afraid they may have to find out the hard way!

2018-12-12 17:09:37 UTC

Just to be straight, I am not living in the UK!

2018-12-12 17:10:11 UTC

They have very little checks and balances compared to the US.

2018-12-12 17:10:29 UTC

The PM has more power than the president of the US

2018-12-12 17:13:01 UTC

So the real question if he becomes PM is not if the UK will burn but it is how quickly will the UK burn?

2018-12-12 17:14:03 UTC

would corbyn follow through with brexit

2018-12-12 17:14:03 UTC

The funny thing is, he would probably get the UK out of the EU quiet handsomely.

2018-12-12 17:14:12 UTC

Corbyn was never on the take, He is anti EU and always has been. He has his good bits but mostly bad. If Labour get into power it will be coz ppl jumped Troy and voted UKIP. We would end with a UKIP, Labour coalition. UKIP would but the breaks on Corbyn.

2018-12-12 17:14:18 UTC

What he does to the UK after is the real question...

2018-12-12 17:14:53 UTC

would he not quickly be gotten rid of after sucessfully brexiting

2018-12-12 17:15:15 UTC

Not if he has enough support.

2018-12-12 17:15:46 UTC

Which is likely as he has a strong mostly young base that want to try real Socialism just one more time!

2018-12-12 17:16:30 UTC

Maybe Socialist secretly hate pets and like making people eat them.

2018-12-12 17:17:06 UTC

That would not explain all those Socialist at PETA

2018-12-12 17:17:21 UTC

Then again they are know for offing most of their animals...

2018-12-12 17:17:36 UTC

maybe peta secretly hates animals too, that why they always killing all them dogs

2018-12-12 17:17:46 UTC

🤔

2018-12-12 17:18:26 UTC

or maybe the vegans support socialism because they're anti-human and like seeing humans die.

2018-12-12 17:52:52 UTC

@grant @Euro looking for a green card PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals

2018-12-12 17:59:05 UTC

I used to trigger PETA members by existing. Being a former butcher and all

2018-12-12 18:09:15 UTC

@BubblyNoodle that warms my heart.

2018-12-12 18:09:17 UTC

Lol

2018-12-12 18:21:57 UTC

I used to tell people I know how to handle their meat when they ask what I did for a job.

2018-12-12 18:43:28 UTC
