Most the stories I've seen have been of young teachers being porked by male students.

Also not aware of the school board moving pedo teachers from school to school, but maybe there were instances of that too

It was an economics issue. Priests got very wealthy from the church, if the priest had a family and he died, that wealth then passed to the family and out of the churches grasp.
