@Legalize I'll give you another example.
Say a parent is training a teen to drive, and the teen makes a mistake crashes into another car killing them.
By your reasoning, the parent should also be responsible for that death.

2019-06-21 03:48:18 UTC

kid lets out the e-brake on his dad's truck, and crushes him to death while changing oil. charge the mom and the child...

2019-06-21 03:48:25 UTC

heh

2019-06-21 03:48:31 UTC

2019-06-21 03:50:22 UTC

Don't strawman it.

@Big Tonve upon a time thought about lawyering

2019-06-21 03:53:26 UTC

the issue here @Legalize is this whole charging the kid as an adult to free the parent of culpability

2019-06-21 03:53:33 UTC

Responsible to what degree though, that's what everyone is asking.

2019-06-21 03:53:38 UTC

@TheCompanyMan same here, got a whole family of them

2019-06-21 03:53:56 UTC

2019-06-21 03:54:25 UTC

If not

2019-06-21 03:54:31 UTC

AINT YA SON

2019-06-21 03:54:36 UTC

the thing with your vandalizing case is that the parents will be responsible for the civil part of it, but often the kid is responsible criminally.

2019-06-21 03:54:45 UTC

@TheCompanyMan oh they actually are

2019-06-21 03:54:49 UTC

I don't care if a person is charged as an adult or not, that's not the principle i'm working with.
Its, can you control another individuals every living action or not, if you can, then yes a parent should be held responsibly, if not, then no it would be immoral to do so.
