And yes I know Hitler was democratically elected but Nazi Germany was definitely totalitarian, which is definitely my error for referring to it as authoritarian. Thanks for pointing that out. Centralized governments cover monarchies, empires, totalitarian, theocracy, authoritarian, and other kinds of governments that centralized power over a vast area.
