Voting is an endorsement of a candidate or an idea, which seems to me like it would be an act of speech

What you're suggesting sounds like "you endorsed a Bad Thing and now I can say you did that Bad Thing and use violence against you to stop the Bad Thing"

no because someone's action of voting Trump into office has responsibility for the increased drone strikes in Yemen
