what political motivations
different party in power
campaign promise
etc
yea but it was bad is what I'm saying
why
america should have kept the deal
not dogging genuinely curious why you support the deal
lol
because it benefits both parties. the USA can keep Iran harmless (with nukes at least) in order to protect its allies in that area. I think america has sanctions on iran before the deal but that might not be true. Irans government will benefit from the money being returned to them hopefully benefiting the people. Irans people will also probably like america more if we don't fuck them over economically, this leading to progression in that country
hmm
I don;t buy the idea the people ever see a drop of the money but otherwie I'm kinda with you
the sanctions date back to the hostage crisis i think
I don’t care if Iran has nuclear weapons. It doesn’t make the us less safe.
1979-80
Psssst bomb iran even the beach boys agree
Mutually assured destruction still holds
I wouldn't know that far back spader
a lot of trading partners over there salacious cat
@Legalize His citation is that he thinks that Iran are good faith actors.
wonder what happens if you shoot it down
Pay protection money else we screw over our neighbors. Good policy.
Which is fucking ridiculous, but there it is.
Give us back? Did we borrow money from them?
pallets of cash
I don’t understand why people are so afraid of Iran having nuclear weapons.
@wolfman1911 I don't, but I also don't think fking over a population is worth it. America has a bad tendency to just make countries worse
In regard to fusion bombs. They require a fission bomb as the detenator so crashing one that is not armed would probably go ok
You said that you believe that they are only working on nukes because we cancelled the deal. I don't see how you can come to that conclusion without believing that they are acting in good faith.
@Joe_Limon right. They just don’t explode that easily. They have to be armed.
He's probably citing what happened in the Sum of All Fears.
God I miss when Clancy wrote his own books
and when he was alive
@wolfman1911 some fictional story?
Yeah
I don’t care about imaginary threats.
In that book, during the six day war an Israeli jet was accidentally sent out carrying a nuke and then got shot down, and then decades later the bad guys found and recovered the nuke, armed it and used it against the US.
