well it's still killing them

2019-10-01 22:49:43 UTC

It prevents a necessary step from taking place, rather than outright halting the whole process, right?

2019-10-01 22:49:43 UTC

?

2019-10-01 22:49:58 UTC

It would be like leaving an infant in a desert.

2019-10-01 22:50:06 UTC

Sure, you didn't kill the baby.

2019-10-01 22:50:07 UTC

It could easily be argued that an abortion is simply forcing a miscarriage later in the term

2019-10-01 22:50:11 UTC

But you let it die.

2019-10-01 22:50:14 UTC

yea i was gonna say its like preventing someone from eating

2019-10-01 23:01:08 UTC

@C1PHER Sorry late to the convo.
To answer your question about rape pregnancy:
The baby never chose to be the result of a rape; therefore shouldnt have to pay with its life for a crime it never asked to be the result of.
Execute the rapist.

2019-10-01 23:02:19 UTC

in all scenarios execute the rapist

2019-10-01 23:04:48 UTC

^

2019-10-01 23:04:49 UTC

Solidly that

2019-10-01 23:04:53 UTC

Additionally, if women actually took the proper procedures to report the rape immediatly after it occured instead of waiting several days/weeks/months/years, they wouldve been provided with Plan B to prevent the pregnancy and STD testing (this is standard procedure according to the Violence Against Womens Act, short VAWA) ontop of having a chance to get the rapist actually answering for their crime while there's actual evidence to be collected

2019-10-01 23:05:58 UTC

@pussydestroyer but plan B is basically the same morally as an abortion.

2019-10-01 23:06:42 UTC

@DJ_Anuz is it though? You dont know if the egg has been fertilized or not

2019-10-01 23:06:55 UTC

^ you definitely don't

2019-10-01 23:07:10 UTC

but apparently to some people it's still not the same morally even if it is fertilized

2019-10-01 23:07:28 UTC

Plan b doesn't prevent the egg from being fertalized though.

2019-10-01 23:07:54 UTC

It prevents a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus.

2019-10-01 23:07:59 UTC

It prevents the egg from attaching to the uterine wall

2019-10-01 23:08:06 UTC

You're right

2019-10-01 23:08:48 UTC

But that still leaves the question whether you know if the egg has been fertilized or not

2019-10-01 23:08:52 UTC

So you're essentially starving a fertilized, distinct human, to death.

2019-10-01 23:09:03 UTC

Potentially

2019-10-01 23:09:05 UTC

If the egg hasn't been fertalized then she wouldn't get pregnant.

2019-10-01 23:09:12 UTC

y not

2019-10-01 23:09:22 UTC

Uhh...

2019-10-01 23:09:33 UTC

I mean. Eggs don't fertilize themselves?

2019-10-01 23:09:46 UTC

if i cum in some chick then she takes the plan b

2019-10-01 23:09:49 UTC

1 minute later

2019-10-01 23:09:54 UTC

it's not fertilized

2019-10-01 23:09:57 UTC

? right

2019-10-01 23:10:01 UTC

Actually it can be.

2019-10-01 23:10:06 UTC

There's still no guarantee that the egg has been fertilized

2019-10-01 23:10:07 UTC

it could also not be

2019-10-01 23:10:27 UTC

Fertilization happens the second sperm comes in contact with the egg.

2019-10-01 23:10:35 UTC

I don't get what your points are?

2019-10-01 23:11:08 UTC

Regardless of whether or not the egg is fertilized, plan b prevents a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus, killing it.

2019-10-01 23:11:08 UTC

Schrodinger's egg

2019-10-01 23:11:17 UTC

I get what yours is. Except yours is still flawed since there is no guarantee to whether the egg has been fertilized or not

2019-10-01 23:11:37 UTC

So its basically Shrodingers egg
