Fascinating nonetheless, just a point that a discussion in chat is unlikely to reach a common conclusion

2017-03-02 05:01:15 UTC

So do you adhere only to the recorded words of Jesus? Is Paul divine or divinely inspired? Should the fact that he was heavily influenced by his Stoic education temper his beliefs?

I personally like Shinto as a religion, Hinduism or Zorastrionism. The major issue is that having a Catholic theocratic society is essentially a mirror image of say the Islamic society.

Free sword

2017-03-02 05:02:11 UTC

Well I mean getting Kingdom of Jerusalem is pretty sweet, but eh, I'm not down.

2017-03-02 05:04:13 UTC

Priesthood of all believers is a powerful concept.

2017-03-02 05:04:28 UTC

It aired 10 episodes and was renewed for a 2nd season.

2017-03-02 05:04:38 UTC

Is this chat always religious?

2017-03-02 05:04:57 UTC

@Tzi No

2017-03-02 05:06:45 UTC

Well that's nice to know.

2017-03-02 05:08:11 UTC

Why does it matter?

2017-03-02 05:08:20 UTC

True

2017-03-02 05:08:46 UTC

Not really. Its interesting. Just wondered if it was always this conversation.

2017-03-02 05:09:09 UTC

Nah

2017-03-02 05:09:25 UTC

This is the first time I've discussed religion in here.

2017-03-02 05:09:34 UTC

The conversation is all over the map

2017-03-02 05:09:35 UTC

@Tzi The "why does it matter" wasn't directed at you. It was about the wishing people would declare their religious affiliation.

2017-03-02 05:09:54 UTC

Yea, Tzi, he was responding to the voice chat, not you.

2017-03-02 05:10:22 UTC

Ah, s'all good. Just letting people speak in the voice chat.

2017-03-02 05:10:28 UTC

Me too

2017-03-02 05:11:29 UTC

@myddrinemrys I mean in some circumstances it can help but it seems like a way to just argue someones theology perspective rather than what they are saying.

2017-03-02 05:11:47 UTC

He agrees with you.

2017-03-02 05:11:52 UTC

Myddrinemrys

2017-03-02 05:11:55 UTC

Agrees

2017-03-02 05:12:03 UTC

Hence why he said, why does it matter?

2017-03-02 05:12:03 UTC

Ah. Alright.

2017-03-02 05:12:03 UTC

Yup.

2017-03-02 05:12:07 UTC

Yup

2017-03-02 05:17:26 UTC

Richard the Lionharte was in reality a cross between the town rapist and a serial killer.

2017-03-02 05:17:33 UTC

LOL

2017-03-02 05:18:53 UTC

He ruined his country with excessive taxes that had to be raised to bail him out of jail, and frequently liked to drag off local women. He got himself captured twice. Dude was an idiot and the Crusades were a waste of time in the Levant. Heck we even ruined Byzantium in the process and caused an entire Empire of Christians to fall to the Muslims.

2017-03-02 05:21:24 UTC

Heh

2017-03-02 05:22:31 UTC

Like, does nobody know that the Crusades in the Middle East not only not work but ended up costing Christians lands. The Crusaders were supposed to assist the Byzantines, and the crusaders ended up SACKING their cities and crippling the Empire.

2017-03-02 05:26:22 UTC

I must go and forage for foodstuffs.

2017-03-02 05:29:27 UTC

Later Tzi.

2017-03-02 05:35:19 UTC

So if I understand the point, you are arguing for divinely inspired kings sanctified by the Vicar of Christ. So a return to the Middle Ages, with the Church at the top as the moral authority, the king at the top of the secular, but answerable to the church.

2017-03-02 05:35:35 UTC

That's how I read him.

2017-03-02 05:35:43 UTC

But it's like trying to nail jello to a wall.

2017-03-02 05:36:45 UTC

Btw fam dunno how into music you all are but if you enjoy chill/alternative stuff this album's fantastic imo:

I got into the guy off of his collaborations with other artists so it's really cool to see him release his own solo album.

Thank you
