Google is to blame for YouTube's shitty policies if I'm not mistaken. Ever since they took over the platform has become less and less free to YouTube's.

They're thinking like executives, not users, which is always bad for a company. That disconnection will only continue to tear it apart from its consumers and patrons.

YouTube red is a great example of what an executive would think 'the young and hip' want from YouTube.
