but I also live in MA, and as someone who considers himself a conservative, I don't have a lot of hope 😛
Oh Where at??
North Shore
(I don't want to give my exact town)
I lived on the opposite side of Boston for two years
Nice!
(I can give exact town because I don't live there anymore)
Chelsea I'm guessing
I lived in Walpole for a year and a half, and Norwood for 6 months
I was close haha
Yeah I'm bad at where towns are situated in the state
I'm much more of a global geographer
I went to Trade School in Norwood, and I worked right on the Auto Mile
Yeah I'm considering going into forest conservation
I would be working for the state, but it's something I think i would enjoy
otherwise I may consider running for local office
Don't you mean you'd be working for the Commonwealth??
yes
I just refer to as the state as people understand it easier
frankly if I can get into park work, I could open up the rest of the country potentially
IN? or LN?
in
indiana
no, Wisconsin
I meant a foot in the door when I said "in"
ah thats good to know
I appretiate it but I'm still young with a lot of experience I need to gain
One of my friends is a supervisor in the Milwaukee County Parks district
not a lot of money to move atm
plus I have no idea if I'll actually like it so I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket 😛
That's true. Gotta do what you love. You won't be efficient at something you hate
well the struggle I have atm is finding what it is I want to do
just typing so my new name pops up
😉
So I'm sitting in church and my pastor talks about illegal immigration right at the pulpit. Talking about how the kids of illegal immigrants are locked up in our version of concentration camps.
A lady and her family gets up and storms out. She yells on her way out "That's a political statement!" I will grab the video stream online (we record everything) and post it here. I want y'all to check it out.
interesting
big if she is right
if I'm not mistaken pastors by us law have to avoid talking about politics
have your pastor tell the 9th circuit court of appeals
