It certainly true that the Nurse's code of conduct has an acknowledgment of "white privilege", that part is real. What I can't find any evidence for is if they have to give an actual speech.

personally at that point i would just cross my arms and say 'no i am sorry i can not treat you because of this rule'

and if they say 'all you have to say is xxxx yyy' you can fire back 'all you have to do is not require me to say it'

The article had a bit that said that someone was claiming that they didn't actually have to give the speech, so long as they abide by the principles.

Which sounds pointless and stupid, because those principles are probably included in whatever version of the Hyppocratic oath that the Australians have.
